We classify Sayonara as aerobic capacity, a good mix of Aerobic Power with rounds of stamina (higher rep gymnastic movements) mixed in. With all system work, there is a spectrum, and depending on your proficiency with pistols (or variation) and CTBs (or variation) you’ll swing more to the stamina side, or more to the breathing side… but, regardless, both will be hit. The 400m run will be breathing no matter what, but the legs will feel it from the Pistols so there will likely be a transition period as your legs get used to running again. Managing fatigue, like always, is key here, don’t run yourself into the ground and end up at singles on the pull-ups. Do manageable sets, stay smart, and ensure that you keep your pace consistent. You will likely run into more problems on the CTBs than the pistols, but be aware that any sort of fatigue on the pistols will translate on the run. If you are able to effectively manage fatigue and keep your pace up then you will be able to conquer this tough workout.
